Homemade caramel is rich, buttery, and surprisingly simple to make with just a few basic ingredients. As the sugar transforms into a deep amber syrup and is combined with butter and cream, it develops a smooth texture and incredible flavor that’s perfect for desserts, coffee drinks, ice cream, and more. Once you make caramel from scratch, you’ll never want to go back to store-bought.
