Ingredients:
Brownies
- 5 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1 Cup White Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 Cup Flower
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
Frosting
- 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 3 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Water
- 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions:
- Start by melting the butter and letting it cool to room temp
- Then add to a bowl with the sugar, eggs and vanilla and whisk until combined
- Next add the cocoa powder, flower, salt and baking powder and mix with a spatula until just combined
- Get an 8 by 8 baking pan and grease the sides with butter so the brownie does not stick
- Spread the brownie mix in the pan and smooth into an even layer
- Bake at 350 Fahrenheit for 25 minutes
- For the frosting melt and cool the butter again, and add to a bowl with the cocoa powder, honey, water, powdered sugar and vanilla and whisk until combined
- Remove the brownies from the oven and let cool
- If the frosting isn’t liquid enough you can put it in the microwave for 30 second intervals
- Pour the frosting over the brownies and smooth into an even layer
- Cut, serve and enjoy!
