Brownies

Rich, fudgy brownies topped with a smooth chocolate frosting make this dessert extra indulgent. Soft, chewy, and packed with chocolate flavor, they’re a simple treat that’s guaranteed to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Ingredients:

Brownies

  • 5 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Cup Flower
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Powder

Frosting

  • 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 3 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions:

  • Start by melting the butter and letting it cool to room temp
  • Then add to a bowl with the sugar, eggs and vanilla and whisk until combined
  • Next add the cocoa powder, flower, salt and baking powder and mix with a spatula until just combined
  • Get an 8 by 8 baking pan and grease the sides with butter so the brownie does not stick
  • Spread the brownie mix in the pan and smooth into an even layer
  • Bake at 350 Fahrenheit for 25 minutes
  • For the frosting melt and cool the butter again, and add to a bowl with the cocoa powder, honey, water, powdered sugar and vanilla and whisk until combined
  • Remove the brownies from the oven and let cool
  • If the frosting isn’t liquid enough you can put it in the microwave for 30 second intervals 
  • Pour the frosting over the brownies and smooth into an even layer
  • Cut, serve and enjoy!
