Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 10 Tbsp Room Temp Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar (Packed)
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
  • Flaky Sea Salt

Directions:

  • Start by mixing the flour, salt and baking soda then set aside
  • In a large bowl, start by using a hand mixer to blend the softened butter
  • Add the sugar and continue mixing
  • Next add the brown sugar and keep mixing for 3-4 minutes on medium high speed while scraping the sides of the bowl
  • Once well combined add the egg and vanilla and mix until homogenous
  • Add the dry mixture and mix as little as possible, about 30 seconds
  • Add the 3/4 cup of chocolate chips and mix until just combined, about 15 seconds
  • Next get out a cast iron pan, dump the cookie dough in the pan and use clean hands to flatten the dough into one even level
  • Last, just add the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips on top and bake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 22-25 minutes or until the outside is browned and a toothpick comes out clean when you poke the center
  • Remove from oven once fully cooked and immediately salt with flaky sea salt
  • Serve with ice cream and enjoy!
