Warm, gooey, and loaded with chocolate, this cookie skillet is the ultimate dessert for sharing—or keeping all to yourself. A golden, crispy edge surrounds a soft, chewy center, making every bite better when served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 10 Tbsp Room Temp Butter
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar (Packed)
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips
- Flaky Sea Salt
Directions:
- Start by mixing the flour, salt and baking soda then set aside
- In a large bowl, start by using a hand mixer to blend the softened butter
- Add the sugar and continue mixing
- Next add the brown sugar and keep mixing for 3-4 minutes on medium high speed while scraping the sides of the bowl
- Once well combined add the egg and vanilla and mix until homogenous
- Add the dry mixture and mix as little as possible, about 30 seconds
- Add the 3/4 cup of chocolate chips and mix until just combined, about 15 seconds
- Next get out a cast iron pan, dump the cookie dough in the pan and use clean hands to flatten the dough into one even level
- Last, just add the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips on top and bake in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 22-25 minutes or until the outside is browned and a toothpick comes out clean when you poke the center
- Remove from oven once fully cooked and immediately salt with flaky sea salt
- Serve with ice cream and enjoy!
