These cookies are easy to make, perfect in size, and taste delicious. A cookie recipe you’ll definitely want to save. Here’s the full recipe I used! Prep Time: Overnight | Cook Time: 10 Minutes | Makes: 15 medium sized cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup White Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Espresso Powder
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/2 Cups AP Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
- 3.5 oz 70% Dark Chocolate
Directions:
- Start by melting the butter in a small saucepot until it browns (5-10 minutes) then let cool
- Add in all the sugar and mix until sandy texture
- Next add in espresso powder, vanilla and one large egg and mix again until combined
- Finally add in the flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips
- Chop the dark chocolate bar into small chunks, add to mixture and combine
- Form into medium to small balls (2 tbsp, smaller than a golf ball)
- Place on a tray and refrigerate overnight
- Allow dough to come to room temperature before baking (At least one hour at room temp)
- Bake for 10 minutes at 360 Fahrenheit
- Rest for 5 minutes and enjoy!
