Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are easy to make, perfect in size, and taste delicious. A cookie recipe you’ll definitely want to save. Here’s the full recipe I used! Prep Time: Overnight  |  Cook Time: 10 Minutes | Makes: 15 medium sized cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Dark Brown Sugar 
  • 1/4 tsp Espresso Powder
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 Cups AP Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips 
  • 3.5 oz 70% Dark Chocolate 

Directions:

  • Start by melting the butter in a small saucepot until it browns (5-10 minutes) then let cool
  • Add in all the sugar and mix until sandy texture
  • Next add in espresso powder, vanilla and one large egg and mix again until combined
  • Finally add in the flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips
  • Chop the dark chocolate bar into small chunks, add to mixture and combine
  • Form into medium to small balls (2 tbsp, smaller than a golf ball)
  • Place on a tray and refrigerate overnight
  • Allow dough to come to room temperature before baking (At least one hour at room temp)
  • Bake for 10 minutes at 360 Fahrenheit 
  • Rest for 5 minutes and enjoy!
