Few foods are as comforting as a perfectly made grilled cheese sandwich. Golden, buttery bread and melted cheese come together to create a simple yet irresistible classic that’s perfect for any meal.

Ingredients:
- 2 Pieces of Sourdough
- 2-3 Tbsp Mayo
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 2 Pieces Swiss Cheese
- 2 Pieces Colby Jack Cheese
- 2 Pieces Cheddar Cheese
- 2 Pieces American Cheese
- 1/4 Cup Monterey Jack Shredded
- 2 Tbsp Parmesan Reggiano
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- Black Pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Directions:
- Start by spreading the mayo on both pieces of bread, only on one side
- Place 1 tbsp of butter in a pan over medium heat and put the bread mayo side down in the pan
- Cook for 3-4 minutes or until browned then remove
- Place all the cheese on the bread, finishing with the grated parmesan
- Last, sprinkle the garlic powder and pepper over everything, then grate the nutmeg over the top
- Add the other tbsp of butter to the pan with the olive oil
- Fold the sandwich together and place back in the pan on low heat
- Cover for 3-4 minutes or until browned then flip and finish the final side
- Remove from heat and cut in half for the best cheese pull, serve and enjoy!
- Optional: Dip in tomato soup for an upgrade
