Soft, moist, and packed with banana flavor, homemade banana bread is a simple classic that never goes out of style. It’s an easy, comforting bake that turns overripe bananas into something truly delicious.

Ingredients:
- 3 overripe bananas (browning)
- 1 3/4 Cup AP Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 5 Tbsp Softened Unsalted Butter
- 5 Tbsp White Sugar
- 5 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Directions:
- Start by mashing the bananas in a bowl
- In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking powder and baking soda together
- In a third bowl mix the butter, white and brown sugar with a hand mixer to incorporate more air
- Then mix in one egg at a time until combined
- Next, add in 1/3 of the dry ingredients and 1/2 of the bananas and mix on low
- Continue by adding another 1/3 of the dry ingredients and the rest of the bananas
- Finally add the last 1/3 of dry ingredients and the cinnamon and mix again
- Then take a 5 by 9 inch bread pan and grease it with butter
- Pour in the banana bread batter and spread evenly
- Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or until you can put a toothpick in and out without any batter sticking
- Rest for 1 hour before cutting so the texture can finish setting
- Slice, serve and enjoy!
